Electronics giant Sony today unveiled a new initiative in mobile phone technology with the launch of the HS800i, a dedicated Happy Slap Hands Free Kit.

Sony Ericsson are the first to announce a dedicated Happy Slap specific hands free kit which has been released in reaction to the massive popularity of the craze.

The new hands free kit has been hailed as a revolution in the happy slap community as it opens up the opportunity for users to film and slap at the same time, which has until now, only been considered possible for experts.

The handsfree kit works with in conjunction with most of Sony Ericssons current video phones by simply clipping the phone onto the headset which then allows the user to filim exactly what they are seeing.

The technology makes it possible for the user to film what they are seeing but at the same time allowing free movement of the arms.

"I can tell you I have tried this system in a real world situation and it works magnificently", exlpained Sonys Jose Hernandez.

"I am quite a fan of Happy Slapping myself, but most of the footage I have filmed in the past has been shakey and often misses the big slap. Now I have full control over what I film, and that is what we are trying to do here at Sony Ericsson, we are trying to empower our customers to get the most out of their phone"

There will be some additional add ons available in the near future, including, impact gloves which will give you a real time pressure read out of your happy slap in pounds per square inch. This is expected to be a popular add on as it will allow Happy Slappers to set targets for themselves and then try to beat that in the future.
