Troubled Ex-Cabinet
Minister David Blunkett today defiantly insisted that he will
return to politics and to the cabinet despite being caught on
film in a leather gimp suit, snorting cocaine with a known Colombian
arms dealer.
The incident which took place in
an unnamed exclusive London hotel is
another blow for Mr Blunkett who had begun to claw his way back
into favour with the Labour Party in the last few weeks after
the dust from his previous exploits had settled.
The video tape which was leaked
today from Home Office sources shows the former Secretary for
Work and Pensions and dog Lucy enjoying an evening of drugs, sadomasochism,
arms dealing and pinball.
Despite the glaring evidence
of illegal activity shown on the tapes Mr Blunkett insisted
in a statement today that he will be back in top level politics
despite this set back.
"I realise I have made a mistake
and that I may have broken multiple laws and that I have
betrayed my family, my country and my party, but
look at my face, I am very upset
about it and I'm blind, you've
got to forgive me", said Mr Blunkett earlier today.

Members of the Labour Party
have been keeping very quiet about the incident and seem
somewhat nervous about the whole affair. As the hotel in
question has been kept quiet suspicions are rising that many
more tapes may soon be leaked showing other major political
figures in similar scenarios.
Conservative front runner David
Cameron was quick to lash out at the former Minister today
when he said: "That leather thong and chaps combo is so 80's
- I can't believe David is so out of style". When question
about the arms trading and cocaine abuse Mr Cameron shuffled
away with no further
comment.
The amazing resilience of Mr Blunkett
has astonished many in the past, but after watching the full video
tape of the incident you would really have to be blind to think
he could ever return to high level politics in any serious way.
