Anne Robinson beheaded by disgruntled quiz show contestant pushed over the edge
Disgruntled contestant Vernon Galloway was
pushed way too far by insults from Robinson

TV quiz presenter Anne Robinson was today beheaded during filming of a new series of BBC 2's 'The Weakest Link'

The popular TV host suffered fatal lacerations to her head when a disgruntled contestant 'frisbeed' his name card across the studio severing the head clean from her body.

After analysis of video recordings of the show it appeared that quiz show host Robinson had berated contestant Vernon Galloway, 32, on four separate occasions throughout the recording.

"Vernon appeared upset when Anne Robinson started talking about him the first time. She was accusing him of being lazy because he was unemployed and she started saying it wasn't surprising he didn't have a girlfriend because he was a slob", explained fellow contestant Jill Higginson.

Mr Galloway, who was one of the strongest players in the quiz, was targeted once again by Robinson at the end of round 4 when she continued to deride him for his appearance stating, "You're a very untidy man, aren't you Vernon? You can't get a girlfriend can you? .... are you too lazy to answer the question baldy ....?"

Apparently unaware to Ms Robinson, Mr Galloway had become extremely agitated by these first two sets of insults as he is seen clenching his fists and sweating whilst never taking his eye off Robinson.

smiling annoyingly even after death

During her third attack, Ms Robinson further infuriated Mr Galloway by questioning him about his childhood and asking about his mothers job and where she grew up. Mr Galloway briefly paused then closed his eyes and calmly answered all her questions, to this Robinson replied, "RIGHT! We're getting some discipline into you, boy".

Unfortunately for Ms Robinson, her would be assassin made it to the second to last round when he was eventually voted to be the 'weakest link'. The last words ever to come from Anne Robinsons mouth were, "Vernon. It's time for you to go back to your bedroom with your man handbag. You are the weakest link goo.....".

At the very same point an enraged Mr Galloway flung his Teflon coated name board across the studio floor, instantly severing Ms Robinsons head from her body.

A cameraman in the BBC studio who witnessed the whole incident explained that as the severed head rolled up to his feet it winked patronisingly at him before finally going quiet for the first time in decades.
